As a communication consultant I work for administrations, public institutions and the private sector. Thereby, I often cooperate with other consultants and communication agencies, yet I am also in direct contact with the clients.
Below please find a list of anonymised reference projects. If you are interested in the details of my work, I will be more than happy to showcase some examples and provide references in a personal meeting.

Selected Projects and Partners
As a long-standing member of the project team with Johanssen + Kretschmer I support project development and management agencies throughout all phases of conceptualising and implementing public participation procedures for major highway, power line and airport projects. The objective is to provide information transparently, to enter into a solution-orientated dialogue and to increase the acceptance for infrastructure projects. Thereby, planning and planning approval processes can be streamlined and shorted, and the timeline for building works can be reduced.
Since 2017 I have supported companies responsible for maintaining and extending the high-voltage grid in Germany in developing successful strategies for the communication of large-scale grid expansion projects. My role: I provide advice regarding communication standards and benchmarks as well as the enhancement of project communication in order to include further stakeholder groups. Implementation is carried out in cooperation with my colleagues at Johanssen + Kretschmer.
Under the heading “climate protection, safeguarding mobility, level playing field for clean energy and value added” I supported the energy team of Johanssen+Kretschmer in carrying out several months of stakeholder dialogues in 2018 on the role of European regulation for the future potentials of alternative fuels (bio fuels, hydrogen, Power-to-X).
In cooperation with V-Formation – Agency for Visual Communication, I planned and executed an information campaign (poster and flyer) in 2021 on behalf of a federal state parliamentary party in northern Germany. The objective was to provide facts and figures on key aspects of the political agenda of the parliamentary group (no election campaign).
My motto: Write without fear, edit without mercy. I develop, write and edit copy and texts for brochures, flyers, newsletters, reports, press releases, presentations, websites and social media posts. My subject range currently includes urban mobility, water supply and wastewater disposal, energy transition, methods of digital planning and building, PTX-technologies, airport operations, telematics, planning and building of road and rail infrastructure, local public transport planning, travel stories, coffee farming and the finding of new homes for dogs in animal shelters.
Upon request I provide texts both in English and in German, and I also translate existing documents.
In order to successfully apply for funding or secure a contract, showcasing technical and professional competencies is often not enough. Formal requirements must be adhered to, partners have to be organised, and budgets need to be calculated with a view to sufficiency as well as competitiveness, all in a usual rather short period of time. Jumping these hoops takes someone who structures the process, steps in when additional groundwork is needed, and ensures high quality of both form and content of the proposal or bid for tender.
In the past, I was able to support, amongst others, GESI German Association for Systems Innovation, KCW and Johanssen + Kretschmer in acquisition and tendering procedures.
As a permanently employed consultant and senior consultant as well as in my position as a freelancer I have designed, organised and facilitated many different events, both digital and in person. Thereby, three basic questions usually make up the starting point of any event related activity: What is the objective of the conference, hearing, workshop, meeting etc.? What does it take to achieve that particular objective? How can the result of the event be measured and evaluated?
As a moderator and facilitator of debates, my task is to ensure that presentations, speeches and discussions all work towards the defined objective.
The Writing Workshop is not only aimed at young professionals, but also at experienced consultants. Applying a combination of theory, exchange of experiences and practical sessions, I teach writing techniques and methods of structuring different types of texts. Likewise, I share tips and tricks on how to turn good writing into an excellent publication.
